The talented Keaton Vanderwerff.
Keaton Vanderwerff was born in Bellingham Washington, and spent his formative years living on Chuckanut Drive. Under the instruction of his mother and oil painter Jania Vanderwerff, he began to develop his artistic skills. While studying at Bellingham High School, he attended art classes at Whatcom Community College, through the Running Start Program. After moving to Costa Mesa California, Keaton was awarded a scholarship to the Laguna College of Art and Design, where he studied figure drawing. He later moved back to Washington State and enrolled at the Northwest College of Art and Design, to study graphic design and illustration. Keaton is an exhibiting member of the Williamsburg Art & Historical Center’s Salon Group, in Brooklyn NY. In 2015 his work became part of their permanent collection. He is also working as an illustrator with Bellingham Coffee Roasters, and is excited to be involved with such a great company.
One of Keaton’s first projects with BCR; Bellingham Bay Blend.
